GEORGIA TEEN DRIVER TRAINING
Beginning January 1st, 2007, all 16 year olds applying for a class D driving license must complete an approved driver education course with a driver training school registered by the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
JUST DRIVER TRAINING is a licensed driving school with the State of Georgia, License # DT-363 and all instructors are certified by the Georgia Department of Driver Services to provide driver education courses and supervised driving instruction that meet Joshua’s Law requirements.
JUST DRIVER TRAINING offers both a 30 hour ONLINE virtual classroom or a 30 hour INSTRUCTOR facilitated accelerated CLASSROOM course in our auditorium, and the 6 hours Behind-the-Wheel training in compliance with Joshua's law. Insurance discounts and tax credits apply to these courses.
Teens are taught the new generation methodologies from the very first session, which is structured on Defensive Driving models. These models are internalized and become a “natural feel” in the driver’s skills. Awareness forms an integral part of every lesson and by training the Teen to predict the actions of other drivers, the correct course of action can be taken in a timely manner to avoid a potential collision. Space and distance training allows the brain to “think ahead” and promotes the correct reaction.
